About the role

Bluebird Care is seeking a new adult care apprentice to join their team in Portsmouth. This apprenticeship offers the opportunity to study towards an Adult Care Worker (Level 2) qualification. The role involves providing high-quality, compassionate care to elderly and vulnerable people in their own homes, assisting with personal care, daily routines, and offering companionship and emotional support. You will learn about communication with individuals from diverse backgrounds, problem-solving in a care setting, adhering to legislation and policies, and maintaining nutrition and hydration standards. The training also covers safeguarding procedures, medication handling, dealing with challenging situations, and effective teamwork. Upon successful completion of this 12-month apprenticeship, you will have obtained your Adult Care Worker (Level 2) Apprenticeship.
