About the role
Bluebird Care is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team as an Adult Care Apprentice in Portsmouth. This apprenticeship offers the opportunity to study towards an Adult Care Worker (Level 2) qualification. The role involves providing compassionate, high-quality care to elderly and vulnerable individuals, assisting them with personal care, daily routines, and offering companionship. You will learn to communicate effectively, solve problems safely, understand nutrition and hydration, and learn about safeguarding procedures, medication administration, and managing challenging situations. The apprenticeship also covers working effectively in a team and as a lone worker.
