About the role
This Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner apprenticeship is designed for experienced practitioners looking to develop their leadership skills while continuing to support children's learning and development.
Key duties include supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing; leading high-quality practice within the setting; and supporting and mentoring colleagues to deliver excellent outcomes for children. The role also involves planning and implementing engaging learning experiences, building positive relationships with children, families, and professionals, and contributing to creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment. Upon completion, apprentices will gain a Level 5 Early Years Lead Educator qualification, valuable hands-on experience, and support from experienced professionals. There is potential for progression to a manager role and a permanent position within the nursery.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English grade 4, and a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification with a pass.
