Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner Apprenticeship

About the role

This apprenticeship at Little Petals Day Nursery, in partnership with Chiltern Training Ltd., offers a Level 5 qualification for aspiring leaders in early years education. You will be responsible for leading and modeling high-quality practice, planning and evaluating learning experiences according to the EYFS framework, and supporting children's development through child-centred approaches. Key duties include observation, assessment, tracking progress, and identifying children with additional needs. You will also act as a safeguarding lead, mentor other practitioners, and contribute to staff training and development. Building strong partnerships with parents and carers is essential, as is promoting inclusive practice and managing nursery resources. The role involves ensuring compliance with policies and legal requirements, contributing to self-evaluation, and leading initiatives to enhance children's outcomes and overall nursery quality. A DBS check is required.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English grade 4 or equivalent and a Level 3 qualification in Early Years.
