About the role

Embark on a career in dental nursing with this Level 3 Extended Diploma apprenticeship. Over 12 months, you'll gain hands-on experience in assisting dentists, sterilising equipment, and providing excellent patient care. This government-funded course, delivered by City & Guilds, covers all aspects of dental practice, from reception duties to managing patient records and stock. You'll work closely with the dental team, supporting them in delivering effective patient care. Upon completion, opportunities for career progression include roles like team manager or dental practice manager, or further training to become a dental therapist or hygienist. Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above are desired. Strong communication, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, administrative, and teamwork skills are essential. Patience and a non-judgemental attitude are also key.
