About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become a qualified Dental Nurse. You will provide essential chair-side support to dentists, contributing to efficient and reliable dental surgery operations. Responsibilities include reception duties, managing patient queries and payments, booking appointments, sterilising equipment, maintaining patient records, and ensuring a positive patient experience. You will also be involved in cleaning dental areas, managing stock, and assisting the wider dental team in delivering effective patient care. This role requires excellent communication, organisation, and customer care skills, along with a non-judgemental and patient approach. Successful candidates will need to pass a DBS check and receive a Hepatitis B vaccine. Upon completion, career progression opportunities include roles such as team manager, dental practice manager, or further training to become a dental therapist, hygienist, or orthodontic therapist.
