About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join First Rung Limited as a Finance Assistant Apprentice. You will gain valuable experience in a finance department, learning to produce spreadsheets and timetables, update in-training lists, prepare and maintain files, and handle paperwork for contractors. You will also be responsible for communicating with internal and external stakeholders regarding apprentice documentation, managing the franking machine and photocopiers, and dealing with incoming and outgoing post for the finance department. This apprenticeship offers a comprehensive training program in Accounting Level 3, covering bookkeeping transactions, bookkeeping controls, elements of costing, using accounting software, and working effectively in finance. Functional Skills in English and maths will also be provided if required. Upon successful completion, you can progress to further training or full-time employment.
