About the role
UNIVERSAL ACCOUNTANCY LTD is seeking an Assistant Accountant Apprentice to join their team. The role involves responsibility for the subcontractor ledger, including setting up subcontractors, verifying status, preparing payrolls, placing orders, and answering calls. You will interact with clients, arrange meetings, maintain accurate records, perform bookkeeping data entry, and handle email correspondence. The position also includes assisting with end-of-month reporting, updating online bookkeeping client entries, and undertaking adhoc duties. This apprenticeship offers a Level 3 Assistant Accountant (AAT) qualification, Level 2 Bookkeeping, and any other relevant on-the-job training. Upon completion, the candidate can choose to progress into further training or full-time employment.
