About the role
Bluebird Care Swindon (Protea Associates Ltd) is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team as an Adult Care Apprentice. This apprenticeship will lead to an Adult Care Worker (Level 2) qualification. The role involves providing high-quality, compassionate care to elderly and vulnerable people in their own homes across Swindon and surrounding areas. Key responsibilities include assisting with personal care, offering companionship and emotional support, communicating effectively with diverse individuals, problem-solving, and adhering to safety regulations. Apprentices will receive training in nutrition, hydration, food hygiene, infection control, safeguarding, medication administration, handling challenging situations, and teamwork. A full-time role may be offered upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
