About the role

The Care Assistant apprenticeship at Selwood House Care Home offers hands-on training in supporting individuals with daily living, promoting independence, and delivering compassionate care in a care home setting. As a Care Assistant apprentice, you will make a real difference to residents' lives by assisting with personal support, emotional well-being, social needs, and meal times. You will also interact with residents on a personal level and contribute to maintaining and developing their care plans. Upon successful completion of this 12-month apprenticeship, you will obtain an Adult Care Worker (Level 2) qualification. Paragon Skills, a national apprenticeship provider, will deliver the training. There is a possibility of being offered a full-time role after completing the apprenticeship.
