About the role

The Domiciliary Care Worker is responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support to service users in their own homes. The role ensures that clients maintain independence, dignity, and choice while receiving safe and effective care in line with individual care plans and CQC standards. Key Responsibilities include providing personal care, assisting with medication, meal preparation, domestic tasks, and offering companionship. The role also emphasizes safeguarding, accurate record-keeping, and working within health and safety procedures. The apprenticeship also involves mandatory training such as moving & handling, safeguarding, first aid, and medication, with the goal of obtaining the Care Certificate and potentially progressing to a full-time role upon completion.
