About the role
This apprenticeship offers a chance to develop accounting skills and gain work experience. The role involves responsibility for the subcontractor ledger, setting up subcontractors, verifying their status, preparing payrolls, placing orders, and handling calls. You will also interact with clients, arrange meetings, maintain accurate records and perform bookkeeping data entry. Email correspondence with clients, assisting with end-of-month reporting, updating online bookkeeping entries, and ad-hoc duties are also part of the role. The training will include Level 3 Assistant Accountant (AAT) and Level 2 Bookkeeping, along with on-the-job training. Upon completion, there's an opportunity for further training or full-time employment.
