About the role

This apprenticeship offers an exciting opportunity to become a Dental Nurse at Marble Arch Dental Centre Ltd in London. You will provide efficient and reliable chair-side support to the dental surgery. Daily duties include reception tasks, dealing with patient queries, taking payments, booking appointments, sterilising equipment, recording patient records, supporting patient wellbeing, cleaning dental areas, and managing stock. The role also involves supporting dentists and the senior team in providing effective patient care. Key requirements include strong communication, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, administrative, and team working skills. Patience and a non-judgemental attitude are essential, along with a willingness to provide excellent patient care. GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 are desired. Successful candidates will need to pass a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and receive a Hepatitis B vaccine. Upon completion of the apprenticeship, career progression opportunities include moving into roles like team manager, team leader, or dental practice manager. Further training can lead to becoming a dental therapist, dental hygienist, or orthodontic therapist.
