About the role
Become a Chef with Ember Inns and develop your skills and experience to gain a qualification. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a traditional pub with a strong community presence. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting food to brand standards, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness. You'll work as part of a supportive team and have open communication with all members. The role involves independent operation of kitchen equipment, therefore applicants must be 18 or over. No prior experience is necessary as comprehensive training will be provided. You will work towards a Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship standard over 15 months, including work-based training with Lifetime Training and a workplace mentor. This includes gaining Functional Skills in English and Maths.
