About the role

As a valued member of the kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting food to brand standards, ensuring a high-quality dining experience for guests. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with colleagues to maintain a supportive atmosphere and handle guest queries efficiently. The role involves maintaining kitchen cleanliness, managing stock rotation, and participating in team meetings and training. No prior experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided, focusing on developing your cooking skills and knowledge of food safety. This apprenticeship leads to a Production Chef Level 2 qualification and is delivered through a blend of work-based training, face-to-face sessions, and remote coaching, with a dedicated in-workplace mentor. Upon completion, there are excellent opportunities for career progression within Mitchells and Butlers, a leading restaurant and pub company in the UK.
