About the role
The New Inn is looking for a passionate Apprentice Chef to join their vibrant pub restaurant team in Blackwater. As an Apprentice Chef with Hungry Horse, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting food to meet specifications and customer expectations. You will maintain high hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen, communicate effectively with your team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality meals, and stay updated on new products and menus. This apprenticeship offers work-based training with a Lifetime Learner Coach and an in-workplace mentor. You will also gain Functional Skills in English and maths if required, with regular reviews. The role provides access to a unique Chef Academy, offering further training and development opportunities within Greene King.
