About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become an Apprentice Chef with Chef and Brewer at The Ely in Yateley. You will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting food to meet specifications and customer expectations. A key part of the role involves maintaining high hygiene and safety standards within the kitchen, essential for the well-being of the team and visitors. Effective communication with your colleagues will be crucial for delivering high-quality meals on time. You will also be expected to stay updated on new products, menus, and promotions.

The apprenticeship is delivered through work-based training, including face-to-face sessions and remote calls with a Lifetime Learner Coach every 6 weeks. You will also have an in-workplace mentor. The training includes obtaining Functional Skills in English and Maths if GCSEs or equivalents are not already held. Reviews will occur every 12 weeks with the apprentice, line manager, and learner coach.
