About the role

This role will provide efficient and reliable chairside support to clinicians while ensuring high standards of patient care, confidentiality, and GDPR compliance. Day-to-day Dental Nurse duties may include welcoming patients, handling enquiries, preparing surgeries, sterilising instruments, assisting clinicians during treatments, updating patient records, supporting patient comfort, monitoring stock, maintaining clinical areas, upholding patient privacy, and collaborating with the team. A career in dental nursing offers progression into Senior Dental Nurse, Lead Nurse, Treatment Coordinator, Practice Manager, Dental Hygienist, Dental Therapist, or Orthodontic Therapist roles. This apprenticeship is provided by Tempdent and includes a Level 3 Dental Nurse Apprenticeship, functional skills if applicable, flexible online delivery, quarterly start dates, induction, and progress support.
