About the role

Provide efficient and reliable chair-side support to the dental surgery. The day-to-day duties of a dental nurse can span across all areas of the practice and can include reception duties, dealing with patient queries, taking payments, booking appointments, sterilising and preparing equipment, recording patient records, supporting patients' wellbeing, cleaning dental areas, and managing stock. Any other duties to support the dentists and senior team to provide effective patient care will also be expected. This apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or training organisation, with at least 20% of working hours spent training or studying. Off-the-job training is on average 7 hours per week.
