About the role

This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to become a Smoking Cessation Adviser with THRIVE TRIBE LTD in London. You will play a vital role in helping individuals quit smoking through evidence-based interventions, behaviour change support, and psychological guidance. The role involves running clinics in various settings, offering both one-to-one and group support. You will collaborate with partner organisations and colleagues in Primary Care to enhance patient uptake and meet targets. A key aspect of this role is providing tailored programmes for specific priority groups and ensuring a safe and excellent client experience. Continuous learning is encouraged, with training in NCSCT Stop Smoking and Behaviour Change. You will also contribute to new projects and service developments within Thrive Tribe, sharing knowledge and resources. A strong understanding of Information Governance and Clinical Governance legislation is essential. Travel across the City of London and the Borough of Hackney is required for clinics and health promotion events. Upon successful completion of the 12-month apprenticeship, there is a potential for the role to become a full-time position.
