About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become a Lead Adult Care Worker, supporting residents in a residential care home and individuals in their own homes within the community. You will gain hands-on experience in providing essential personal care, assisting with daily activities, ensuring resident well-being, and contributing to a safe and comfortable environment. The role involves supporting residents with washing, dressing, meals, mobility, and encouraging independence. You will also participate in social activities and build positive relationships with residents and their families. In home care, you will accompany experienced staff to support individuals with daily living tasks, personal care, and companionship. This apprenticeship emphasizes understanding medication procedures, infection prevention, and safeguarding, while also developing communication and interpersonal skills.
