About the role
This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become a qualified Dental Nurse. You will provide essential chairside support to clinicians, ensuring high standards of patient care, confidentiality, and GDPR compliance. Daily duties include welcoming patients, managing appointments, handling enquiries, preparing surgeries, sterilising instruments, maintaining infection control, assisting during treatments, updating patient records, supporting patient comfort, managing stock, and ensuring clinical areas are safe and equipped. You will work closely with dentists and the team to deliver safe and high-quality care. Upon completion, there are excellent career progression routes, including Senior Dental Nurse, Lead Nurse, Treatment Coordinator, Practice Manager, or further studies to become a Dental Hygienist or Therapist. The training is provided by Tempdent, including a Level 3 Dental Nurse Apprenticeship and functional skills if needed, with a flexible online delivery model and ongoing support.
