About the role

Join Associates Hair Salon as a Hairdressing Apprentice and embark on a career in the vibrant hair and beauty industry. This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience in a salon setting, learning essential hairdressing skills. Duties will include meeting and greeting clients, booking appointments, shampooing, conditioning, blow drying, styling, and applying colour and lightening techniques. You will work towards a Level 2 Hairdressing Professional qualification, with opportunities for functional skills in maths and English if required. The training covers topics such as hair and skin testing, the effects of chemicals, principles of hair colour selection, and environmental practices. There is also potential to learn about product promotion, perming, and working with different hair types. Upon successful completion, there's an opportunity to progress to an Advanced (Level 3) qualification.
