About the role
As a level 3 apprentice, you will be a key member of the nursery team. Your daily activities will include planning and implementing fun and educational activities with children, playing alongside and with children to support their development, and fostering their creative and imaginative experiences. You will maintain development records for key children, supervise them during rest and mealtimes, and contribute to health and safety. Ensuring the play area is clean and tidy and providing feedback to parents on their child's progress are also key responsibilities. Useful qualities for this role include being friendly, approachable, patient, caring, and able to interact positively with children and adults. Flexibility, reliability, trustworthiness, and motivation are essential, as is the ability to work on your own initiative. This position is ideal for a candidate with a bubbly, outgoing personality who is prepared to commit to the work required for an apprenticeship. Upon completion, progression to a higher-level qualification or full-time employment may be available.
