About the role
This apprenticeship offers a Level 3 qualification in Childcare at TOTS AND TWEENIES LIMITED in Ilford. The role involves acting as a key person to a group of children, building relationships with parents/carers, and ensuring each child's needs are met. Key responsibilities include working in partnership with families, advising the manager of any concerns, and teaching children through stimulating play experiences while ensuring their safety. The apprentice will also participate in team meetings, training, and personal development activities. Desired qualifications include GCSE English and Maths at grade 4, along with strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, presentation, administrative, numerical, analytical, logical, team-working, creative, initiative, non-judgemental, patient, and physical fitness skills. The apprenticeship is for 1 year and 6 months, with a closing date of 30-12-2026 and a start date of 13-01-2027. The training will be provided by NORTH WALES TRAINING LTD. and will include paediatric first aid, with training potentially conducted at the work location. A DBS check is required.
