About the role

Barclay Primary School is offering a Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship, providing valuable experience in supporting pupils and teachers within an educational setting. This apprenticeship is designed for individuals passionate about education and childcare, aiming to foster confident young people who are eager to learn and achieve their best. The role involves assisting with the development and implementation of individual education/behaviour plans, supporting pupils with their learning activities, and promoting inclusion. You will also provide clerical and administrative support to teachers, prepare learning materials, and ensure the safety and well-being of pupils. This apprenticeship is an excellent opportunity to gain practical skills and contribute to the positive ethos of the school. Upon completion, there is potential for a permanent position.
