About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become an Apprentice Parts Assistant at WARRINGTON TRUCK & VAN LTD. You will be an integral part of the service and parts operations, splitting your time between supporting the workshop team and managing the logistics of vehicle components. This role will provide hands-on experience in stock management, customer service, and parts and service administration. Key responsibilities include general administration, managing stock control by receiving and logging deliveries, ordering components, pre-picking workshop jobs, and organizing the storeroom. You will also assist with service and workshop support by processing job cards, handling billing, and coordinating documentation. Furthermore, you will be the first point of contact for customer inquiries, answering phones and emails, and providing basic quotes under supervision. This apprenticeship leads to progression opportunities as a Parts Advisor and/or Service Administrator.

Entry requirements

• GCSE Maths and English A-C or 4-9 or equivalent. Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Administrative skills, Team working, Initiative.
