About the role
First Steps Nursery in New Mills is seeking a passionate Childcare Apprentice to study towards an Early Years Educator Apprenticeship Level 3 qualification. This role involves working within an 'Outstanding' nursery setting with a Forest School, caring for children from 3 months to 5 years old. Key responsibilities include contributing to a safe and inclusive environment, following nursery policies, acting as a Keyworker for a group of children, and contributing to their developmental needs and assessments. The apprentice will also assist in planning and providing stimulating activities. The starting salary is £16,640, with potential to increase based on experience. Upon successful completion of the 15-month apprenticeship, there is a possibility of a full-time role being offered.
