About the role

This is a Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship opportunity at ROSE PARK DAY NURSERY LTD in FELTHAM. The apprenticeship will involve working with children aged 0-5 and working towards an Advanced Diploma Early Years qualification. The duration of the apprenticeship is 13 months. Key duties include assisting children with numeracy and language skills, participating in various activities, liaising with parents, and supporting children's daily needs such as feeding and changing. The role requires dedication, commitment, and punctuality. Essential entry requirements include GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4. Desired skills include strong communication, IT proficiency, attention to detail, organizational skills, customer care, problem-solving, and teamwork. Upon successful completion, there are opportunities for career progression to a Level 3 practitioner, Room Leader positions, management training, and potential pathways into Primary Education or Paediatric nursing. The nursery provides a stimulating and caring environment for children aged 2-5 years old. Online training with an assessor will be required for 10 days out of the 13 months, with the rest of the time spent working in the nursery under supervision. A first aid qualification will also be obtained.
