Apprentice Dental Nurse

About the role

This role provides efficient and reliable chairside support to clinicians, ensuring high standards of patient care, confidentiality, and GDPR compliance. Duties include welcoming patients, handling enquiries, preparing surgeries, sterilising instruments, assisting clinicians during treatments, updating patient records, monitoring stock, and maintaining clean clinical areas. The apprenticeship offers progression routes into Senior Dental Nurse, Lead Nurse, Treatment Coordinator, Practice Manager, Dental Hygienist, Dental Therapist, or Orthodontic Therapist roles. The training is provided by Tempdent and includes a Level 3 Dental Nurse Apprenticeship, Functional Skills (if applicable), flexible online delivery, regular progress support, and quarterly start dates.
