About the role

An exciting opportunity to undertake a Print Finishing Apprenticeship with HOBBS THE PRINTERS LIMITED. This hands-on role offers comprehensive training in all aspects of the printing industry, transforming raw printed material into finished products through various complex finishing processes. You will gain valuable experience in delivering high-quality printed items with precision, operating technologies such as different binding methods (adhesive binding, saddle stitching, wire-o, case binding) and converting reels to book blocks. Upon completion, you will achieve a nationally recognised Level 3 Print Technician qualification. This progressive, tech-driven environment provides mentorship from industry experts and fosters a culture of sustainability, teamwork, and innovation. The apprenticeship involves manual handling and significant time spent standing whilst operating equipment. Candidates must possess excellent communication, attention to detail, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with a logical and initiative-driven approach. Normal colour vision is essential.
