About the role
As a Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience inspecting and assessing accident-damaged vehicles. You will develop skills in appraising damage, compiling accurate repair estimates, and researching appropriate repair methods. The role involves using specialist software to produce work instructions and costings, liaising with technical colleagues, customers, and insurance companies to negotiate repairs. Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above, along with strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, presentation, administrative, number, analytical, logical, teamwork, initiative, non-judgemental, patience, and physical fitness skills.
