About the role

This role will provide efficient and reliable chairside support to clinicians while ensuring high standards of patient care, confidentiality, and GDPR compliance. Day-to-day Dental Nurse duties include welcoming patients, preparing surgeries, sterilising instruments, assisting clinicians during treatments, updating patient records, supporting patients' comfort, monitoring stock, maintaining clean clinical areas, upholding patient privacy, and collaborating with the dental team. A career in dental nursing offers progression to Senior Dental Nurse, Lead Nurse, Treatment Coordinator, Practice Manager, or further training to become a Dental Hygienist or Dental Therapist. The training is provided by Tempdent and includes a Level 3 Dental Nurse Apprenticeship with flexible online delivery.
