About the role
This apprenticeship offers a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing, funded by City & Guilds over 18 months. As an Apprentice Dental Nurse, you will gain hands-on experience assisting dentists, sterilising equipment, handling reception duties, and enhancing the patient experience. Key responsibilities include providing chairside support, maintaining infection control to CQC standards, assisting during treatments, updating patient records, managing stock, and ensuring patient confidentiality and dignity. This role is ideal for individuals with strong administrative, communication, and organizational skills, who are patient, detail-oriented, and enjoy teamwork. Upon completion, career progression opportunities include becoming a Senior Dental Nurse, Lead Nurse, Treatment Coordinator, or Practice Manager, or further training to become a Dental Hygienist, Dental Therapist, or Orthodontic Therapist.
