About the role

An exciting opportunity to become an Apprentice Dental Nurse at Macclesfield Dental. This 18-month, government-funded Level 3 Extended Diploma course, provided by City & Guilds and delivered by Tempdent, will equip you with the skills to assist dentists, sterilise equipment, manage reception duties, and enhance patient experience. You will gain hands-on experience in a supportive dental practice setting, contributing to high standards of patient care, confidentiality, and GDPR compliance. Duties include preparing surgeries, sterilising instruments, assisting clinicians, updating patient records, managing stock, and maintaining clinical areas. This role offers excellent career progression within the dental sector, with opportunities to advance to Senior Dental Nurse, Lead Nurse, or even pursue further training to become a Dental Hygienist or Therapist. The practice is inclusive and focused on developing the next generation of dental nurses.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE Maths at grade 4 or above, GCSE English at grade 4 or above.
