About the role

As an apprentice dental nurse, you will gain hands-on experience working in a dental practice, supporting dentists and the wider team in providing efficient and reliable patient care. Your responsibilities will include chair-side support, reception duties, managing patient queries, handling payments, booking appointments, sterilising equipment, maintaining patient records, ensuring patient wellbeing, cleaning dental areas, and managing stock. You will also be involved in any other duties required to support effective patient care. The apprenticeship involves regular training with Harriet Ellis Training Solutions Limited, with at least 20% of your working hours dedicated to study, including functional skills if needed. Successful candidates will be required to pass a DBS check and have a Hepatitis B vaccination.
