About the role

As an Apprentice Domiciliary Care Assistant, you will be supporting people to live safely, independently, and comfortably in their own homes. Every day is different, and you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine difference to people's lives while gaining a recognised qualification in health and social care. You will work alongside experienced Care Assistants, Senior Care Assistants, Care Coordinators, Field Care Supervisors, and Registered Managers who will support and mentor you throughout your apprenticeship. You'll become part of a dedicated team committed to delivering outstanding person-centred care within the local community. Responsibilities include accompanying clients to appointments & social outings, encouraging clients to live fulfilling lives, personal care, medication administration, housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, catheter/stoma care, and end-of-life care.
