About the role
This apprenticeship offers a government-funded Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing, provided by City & Guilds. Over 18 months, apprentices will gain hands-on experience in a dental practice, assisting dentists, sterilising equipment, performing reception duties, and enhancing the patient experience. Key responsibilities include providing efficient chairside support, maintaining high standards of patient care and infection control, assisting with appointments, managing stock, and upholding patient confidentiality. Upon completion, career progression opportunities include Senior Dental Nurse, Lead Nurse, Treatment Coordinator, Practice Manager, or further development into Dental Hygienist, Dental Therapist, or Orthodontic Therapist roles.
