About the role

This apprenticeship offers an exciting opportunity to become a Geospatial Surveyor. You will learn to survey and map various inland waterways, floodplains, reservoirs, docks, beaches, and sea defenses using advanced survey technology. The role involves processing data into 2D drawings and 3D models using hydrographic and CAD software. This program provides qualifications in a diverse and interesting profession. Duties include preparing mapping, obtaining land access permissions, establishing survey control stations, conducting surveys with Total Stations, Echo Sounders, GPS Receivers, and Drones, processing survey data into various formats, and creating survey reports. Upon completion, you will gain a Level 6 Geospatial Mapping and Science Specialist qualification.
