About the role

Stantec UK Limited is offering an exciting Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship opportunity for a Civil Engineer in Manchester. This program provides hands-on experience and academic qualifications to launch a successful career in civil engineering. Apprentices will be involved in designing detailed drawings and technical models for infrastructure projects, mastering industry software like AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS. They will contribute to innovative and sustainable solutions from concept to delivery, assisting Senior Engineers and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The apprenticeship involves working with leading clients and communities for over 150 years, focusing on creating sustainable, healthy, and prosperous communities through effective planning, design, and management of development and infrastructure. This role offers a chance to deal with today's challenges while keeping a fairer, better tomorrow in sight, focusing on clean growth and meeting the needs of future communities. The apprenticeship includes training at Leeds Beckett University on a day release basis and potentially Coventry University on a block release basis.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE Mathematics and English Grade 5 or 6 (B) or above, and A Level BBC including Mathematics & an Analytical Science B or above.
