About the role
This 18-month, government-funded apprenticeship with City & Guilds leads to a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing. As an Apprentice Dental Nurse at Mac Dental, you will gain hands-on experience assisting dentists, sterilising equipment, performing reception duties, and enhancing the patient experience. Your responsibilities will include providing efficient chairside support, ensuring high standards of patient care, confidentiality, and GDPR compliance. You will prepare surgeries, sterilise instruments, maintain infection control, assist clinicians, update patient records, monitor stock, and uphold patient privacy. This role offers a clear career path with opportunities for progression to Senior Dental Nurse, Lead Nurse, Treatment Coordinator, or Practice Manager, and further development into roles like Dental Hygienist or Dental Therapist.
