About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting adults with their daily lives, wellbeing and independence, while working towards a recognised care qualification. You’ll learn from experienced colleagues and develop valuable skills in communication, person-centred care and safeguarding.

Key responsibilities include providing care and support to customers, following care plans and policies, assisting with personal care, monitoring medication administration, and participating in recreational activities. You will also maintain accurate records, ensure effective communication within the team, and uphold confidentiality. A working knowledge of policies and procedures is essential, along with timely completion of administrative records. The role requires adherence to equality and diversity policies and regular participation in professional development activities. All applicants must hold a valid driving licence and have access to their own vehicle. Career progression will be discussed at the end of the apprenticeship.
