Level 3 Engineering Machining Technician Apprentice

About the role

MADOCS ENGINEERING LTD is seeking an enthusiastic apprentice to join their experienced engineering team and develop the skills required to become a qualified Machine Technician. The role involves learning to programme and run HAAS machining and turning centres, as well as using Autodesk CAD/CAM software. You will receive practical, hands-on training in CNC machining, including milling and turning, and learn to set, operate, and programme machines. Duties will include reading engineering drawings, selecting cutting tools, measuring components, and assisting with the manufacture of various parts. The apprenticeship offers an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career in engineering and gain practical experience with modern CNC machinery. Essential requirements include GCSEs in Maths and English at grade 4, along with good timekeeping, reliability, and a methodical approach.
