About the role

This is a 12-month government-funded apprenticeship for a Dental Nurse, leading to a Level 3 Extended Diploma accredited by City & Guilds. The role involves providing essential chair-side support to dentists, sterilising and preparing equipment, managing reception duties, and ensuring a positive patient experience. Key responsibilities include greeting patients, handling queries and payments, booking appointments, maintaining patient records, and managing stock. This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience and the opportunity to develop valuable skills within a dental practice. Successful candidates will need to pass a DBS check and receive a Hepatitis B vaccination.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Mathematics at grade 4 or above. Strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, and customer care skills are essential.
