About the role
To work within our Early Years Team, supporting the planning and implementation of activities with individual or groups of children; promoting effective teaching and learning.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the nursery's commitment to safeguarding children.
- Promoting the inclusion of all children.
- Using professional knowledge to meet diverse learning needs.
- Establishing positive and sensitive relationships with children.
- Organizing indoor and outdoor environments with appropriate resources.
- Meeting children's physical needs and promoting independence.
- Supporting emotional and social needs and promoting positive behaviour.
- Encouraging children to interact and work co-operatively.
- Planning, developing, and delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Supporting, monitoring, and evaluating children's learning.
- Providing feedback and reports for parents and other professionals.
- Developing positive relationships with parents and carers.
- Proactively continuing personal learning.
- Adhering to Health and Safety Regulations and nursery Policies and Procedures.
- Attending meetings and training opportunities.
- Undertaking duties assigned by the Management Team.
