About the role

Liverpool College is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Apprentice Teaching Assistant to join their team. This Level 3 apprenticeship offers hands-on experience in supporting students aged 4-19 with their daily learning goals across various subjects. The role involves working closely with teachers to understand and support assessments, developing effective practice, and ensuring the safeguarding and welfare of children. The apprenticeship includes off-the-job training through a blended learning model of coursework, training, and shadowing, with approximately six hours per week dedicated to this. Upon successful completion, apprentices will be awarded the Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, with opportunities for progression to higher-level qualifications such as High Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or a postgraduate teaching qualification. Career progression is flexible, with potential opportunities to continue with Liverpool College or seek external employment and professional development.
