Property Apprentice

About the role

Join a welcoming team and gain valuable knowledge and experience in the Housing sector as a Property Apprentice. This role involves organizing property viewings, managing tenancy inspection queries, writing property ad brochures, administering maintenance contracts, obtaining quotations from contractors, instructing and liaising with contractors, actioning works and reporting on maintenance findings, and dealing with queries from property owners, lettings managers, and tenants. You will also update company knowledge systems and prepare quotes. The apprenticeship includes monthly online 1-2-1 meetings with a tutor, covering topics such as decision making, collaborative working, housing legislation, and tenancy types. A minimum of 3 hours per week is allocated for apprenticeship work (assignments, research, projects), with an additional 3 hours of training provided by the employer. This family-run company is expanding and offers property sales, lettings, and holiday let services, with a strong tradition of community work and charity fundraising. Upon successful completion, there is a strong possibility of a permanent position within the business.
