About the role
This apprenticeship offers a Level 3 qualification in Motor Mechanic, ideal for individuals with existing Level 2 qualifications and at least 6 months of garage experience. The apprentice will service and repair light vehicles in dealerships or independent garages, handling tasks from simple part replacements to complex fault diagnosis. Duties include inspecting and servicing vehicles, maintaining a safe workshop environment, diagnosing and repairing faults, and providing excellent customer service. Upon completion, opportunities for progression into roles like MOT Tester, EV/Hybrid Technician, or Workshop Manager are available within the automotive industry.
Entry requirements
- GCSE Maths and English (grade 4 or equivalent) and Auto Technician/Motor Vehicle Level 2.
