About the role

An exciting opportunity to join a growing business and play a major part in their development. You will help drive revenue growth, secure new transport contracts, and build a strong brand presence by leading sales strategy, marketing execution, and customer relationship management within the transport / logistics sector.

Duties include conducting market research, collecting and organizing lead data, updating lead information, segmenting leads, assisting with outreach emails, developing personalized content, aligning lead generation with campaign goals, providing insights into lead behavior, participating in training, and gaining experience with platforms like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, and Salesforce. The role also involves AI-supported data scraping, automated lead qualification, and market segmentation.

This role requires taking responsibility within sales and business development, identifying and winning new clients (B2B, e-commerce, retail, manufacturing, freight forwarders) and targeting contracts for same-day/next-day delivery, multi-drop routes, dedicated fleet solutions, and peak-cover/overflow logistics. You will also help prepare tenders and proposals aligned with margin targets.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English (Grade 4/C) and Maths (Grade 4/C) are desired.
