About the role

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is looking for Apprentice Compliance Officers to help reduce fraud and error in the benefit system. As part of the Counter Fraud Compliance and Debt (CFCD) team, you will be crucial in protecting the public purse. This is an important public service role where you can develop new skills and progress your career, with a focus on work-life balance. Responsibilities include conducting interviews, ensuring policy adherence, working collaboratively, promoting fraud awareness, gathering and assessing information for benefit reassessments, maintaining accurate records, liaising with other organizations, and prioritizing workload. Occasional travel and overnight stays may be required.
